Homemade Almond Butter

This recipe is so simple, easy and the end result is delicious!!! Perfect for your sandwiches, baking or as a topping for your breakfast!!! There are several variations around on the internet for making homemade almond butter which is great because you can find what recipe works best for you and your family. Homemade almond butter is also becoming increasingly popular and is being used more and more as of today!!! 

Ingredients: *** The amount of ingredients will vary depending on your serving size***

  • Almonds ( I used 4 of the 100 calorie snack packages) *** You can choose to roast the almonds before blending them, in my case I did not just for sake of time***
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons of vegetable oil (or any other oil that is flavorless)
  • 1 teaspoon of honey (optional)
Directions:
  1. Place almonds and vegetable oil in a blender or food processor 
  2. Blend until smooth, making sure you scrape the sides often
  3. Add in your honey once smooth, if using
  4. Then place in a container and place in the refrigerator to thicken until ready to use
*** Almond Butter should be good for 1-2 weeks to a month***
