Garlic Butter Roasted Hassel Back Potatoes

These potatoes are a perfect addition to your summer meal!!! They are easy, simple, and delicious!!! Let me walk your taste buds through this potato... when you bite into it, you first taste the creaminess from the potato and melted butter, then all those amazing seasonings start popping up one by one
( the pepper, garlic powder, paprika, salt, Italian seasoning, parsley) and finally, you receive the crunchiness of the parmesan cheese or bread crumbs with that roasted flavor to it! IS YOUR MOUTH WATERING YET?!?!

Ingredients: *** Ingredient amounts will vary depending on your serving size***

  • 4-5 Potatoes
  • 4 tablespoons of melted butter
  • 1/2 cup parmesan or bread crumbs (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder ( you can use minced garlic too)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Pinch of dried parsley for garnish (optional)
  • Pinch of minced garlic for garnish (optional)
Directions: *** 2 ways of cooking***

First Way:
  1. Preheat Oven at 400 degrees
  2. Wash and cut slits down the center of your potatoes but not all the way through
  3. Pour a spoonful of melted butter on top of your now, slit potato and brush in between slits
  4. Combine your parmesan or bread crumbs, if using with black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and Italian seasoning.
  5. Sprinkle over your potatoes and in between your slits
  6. Transfer to a baking sheet or dish and add your minced garlic in between the slits
  7. Bake for 40 minutes to an hour until golden and cooked through
  8. Sprinkle with parsley when done
  9. Serve and Enjoy!
Second Way:
  1. Wash and steam your potatoes for about 10-12 minutes depending on the size of your potatoes
  2. Cut slits in your potatoes with a serrated knife, not all the way through ( It cuts better)
  3. Add and brush your melted butter on top of your potatoes and in between your slits
  4. Combine parmesan or breadcrumbs, if using with black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, salt and Italian seasoning
  5. Sprinkle over and in the slits of your potatoes
  6. Place on grill or in broiler until golden
  7. Serve and Enjoy!
***Cooking time will vary depending on the size of your potatoes***
